New FUX PADS will not absorb as quickly as pads that have been washed several times. Expect the speed of absorbency to increase with subsequent uses. Very light splashes will absorb more slowly than heavy gushes. Thick fluids or solid matter may not absorb at all and should be wiped off with a towel or wipe. 

• Do not iron or steam.
• Wash cold/ tumble dry low.
• Do not bleach.
• Do not use fabric softeners.
• If unable to wash right away fold up pad with waterproof layer on the outside, and store in a cool, dark area until washing is available.
• Do not use on rough surfaces.
• If using outdoors place a tarp underneath to prevent punctures.
